MEMBERS of the National Trust Airedale & Wharfedale Association will be transported to the Ethiopian Highlands.
Geoff Budd is giving a talk on The Land of Cush, outlining the history and culture of the region.
The Ethiopian Highlands form the largest continuous region of elevation on the continent, and are sometimes called the Roof of Africa due to their height and area.
A spokesperson for the association says: "Having visited over 130 countries during his travels, we look forward to being enlightened by Geoff."
The meeting takes place at Shipley Library on Saturday, October 14, at 2.30pm.
The National Trust Airedale & Wharfedale Association meets monthly between September and April, and organises excursions during the spring and summer.
