AN annual pop-up pub is once again the toast of two charities.
The two-day Alvary Arms event is held annually at the Oldfield home of the Schofield family, including husband-and-wife Sarah and John, and sons Matthew and Tom.
And as a result of this year's instalment, just over £3,000 has been donated to Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands, and £2,000 to Dementia Friendly Keighley.
The event included a curry night, hand-pulled beers, barbecue, quiz and live music.
Sarah said: "A huge 'thank you' goes to our wonderful team of family and friends that cooks, cleans, serves food and works tirelessly to make the Alvary Arms a great success. I must also thank our generous sponsors, talented musicians and lovely customers."
Hayley Ibbotson, senior community fundraiser at Manorlands, says: "The pop-up pub is a fantastic event and testament to the tremendous effort the family and its army of helpers put in."
