FOUR members of a care home group have been named as finalists in the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards.

Spellman Care's group operations manager Philippa Young is amongst the contenders, for the second year in succession, in the Care Home Businesswoman of the Year category.

Lisa Noble, manager at Springbank in Silsden, and deputy April Howie are in the finals of the Girl Power team category.

And Nichola Harrison, who manages Ghyll Royd Care Home in Guiseley, is a finalist in the Social Care Superwoman section in recognition of long service.

Philippa says: "We’re all immensely proud to reach the finals.

"This achievement shows the hard work and commitment of our teams to going the extra mile.

"Led by our core values of kindness, dignity and compassion, providing our residents with the very best care is at the heart of everything we do."

The awards ceremony, at the London Marriott Hotel on November 21, will be hosted by Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir Singh.
