AN opticians is staging a fashion week – and raising money for charity.
Airedale Opticians is holding the event at both its Keighley and Cross Hills practices, from next Monday (November 13).
A range of frames, by designers including Murano and children’s brand Nano, will be showcased.
There will be freebies, cakes by Peonies of Cross Hills, and drinks and snacks.
Also, a raffle for a John Lewis hamper will take place, with all proceeds going to the Macular Society.
Two groundbreaking services will be spotlighted too – Intense Pulsed Light treatment for dry eyes and Eyerising myopia management for children.
The fashion week is partly to celebrate Airedale Opticians being shortlisted for two accolades in the Opticians Awards – Mohammed Hafejee is in the running for Optometrist of the Year, and Gill Thorp for Dispensing Optician of the Year.
