A TEENAGER who failed to buy a £5.80 train ticket from Keighley to Leeds has been ordered to pay over £460 by magistrates.
Harris Khan made the journey on February 24 this year.
Doncaster Justice Centre North heard that the fare, and a penalty notice, had gone unpaid despite reminder letters from rail operator Northern.
Khan, 19, of Munby Street in Bradford, was fined £220 and ordered to pay £150 costs, an £88 victim surcharge and £5.80 in compensation.
