CHELSEA'S world-famous flower show will be the focus of a talk at Glusburn.
David Allison will speak on Chelsea Flower Show-Plant of the Year at a meeting of Glusburn and Cross Hills Gardening Society.
Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre, Colne Road, on Friday, December 15, at 7.30pm.
Derek Blackwell, for the society, says: "The presentation will provide a tour of the best that Chelsea Flower Show has to offer, together with hints for your own garden and growing.
"David has delivered a number of excellent talks to us before. He's been vice-chair of the RHS fruit, vegetable and herb committee, had a long career with the National Vegetable Society and is currently involved in vegetable trials at the new RHS Garden Bridgewater."
Admission is £3 for members, and £5 for non-members.
More details can be obtained from Mr Blackwell on 07834 713735.
