A CHRISTMAS tree festival is being held at St Luke’s Church, East Morton.
Trees decorated by businesses, schools and voluntary organisations are being displayed from Friday (December 8) until next Tuesday.
Refreshments, including mince pies and mulled wine, will be served.
Admission is £2, with accompanied children admitted free.
Vicar, the Rev Canon Tony Walker, says: "I can’t think of a better way of taking a break from a bout of busy Christmas shopping than to come into church, be inspired by the variety of trees on display and enjoy some traditional refreshments. It will also provide much-needed funds to assist with the escalating costs of maintaining the church."
The festival is open from 6pm-9pm on Friday (December 8), 10am-6pm Saturday (December 9), 2pm-6pm Sunday (December 10), 10am-6pm Monday (December 11) and 10am-3pm on Tuesday, December 12.
