NEW customer information displays have been installed at 77 railway stations – including Steeton & Silsden.
Train operator Northern says the new screens feature white LEDs, which can be seen from a greater distance, and higher colour contrasts to make them easier to read for people with some visual impairments.
The displays can also carry additional customer information and safety messages.
More than 160 stations in total on the Northern network now have the new screens.
Mark Powles, commercial and customer director at Northern, says: "We are investing £14 million over the next five years to bring better and clearer information to our passengers.
"Our new screens are more accessible and will make journeys easier for everyone."
Northern is the UK's second largest train operator.
