HAWORTH Band launched its Christmas concerts with a well-attended performance at Riddlesden United Reformed Church.
Extra seating had to be arranged to cater for the numbers attending.
Members played a selection of traditional festive music and brass band favourites.
Carols were chosen by the audience.
The event culminated with Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival.
Next up is a performance this Saturday (December 16) at Christ Church, Skipton, as guest of the Cononley Singers.
And the final concert is at Haworth Parish Church on Thursday, December 21, at 7.30pm.
The programme is under the musical directorship of Andrew McLauchlan.
Other venues visited – or being visited – by the band during the festive period include Laycock Village Hall, schools and Asda supermarket in Keighley.
