SOVEREIGN Health Care is delivering festive cheer to young patients at Airedale Hospital.
The Saltaire-based organisation has donated around £1,000 worth of gifts – including toys, games, books and colouring pens – to the children's ward.
Neil McCallum, Sovereign Health Care chief executive, says: "We are delighted to be able to make Christmas a little bit brighter for those children who need to spend time in hospital."
The donation was made through the organisation's community programme.
Laura Hepworth, of Airedale Hospital & Community Charity, says: "Christmas is a magical time for children and families, which is why being in hospital over this period can be difficult.
"We're so grateful for this generous donation of gifts from Sovereign Health Care. It will make a huge difference to the families and children.
"Airedale Hospital has a long-standing partnership with Sovereign, which has focused on the health and wellbeing of local people for over 150 years."
