KEIGHLEY Film Club is to screen an award-winning French movie.
One Fine Morning/Un Beau Matin will be shown at Keighley's Picture House on Sunday, January 21, at 6pm.
The 15-certificate film, with a running time of 112 minutes, features a widowed single parent caring for her eight-year-old daughter, with a fading father suffering from neurodegenerative disease. Whilst struggling to secure a decent nursing home for her father, she runs into a married friend with whom she embarks on an affair.
"All filmgoers interested in an honest look at love and life should see this film," says Alan Watkinson, for the club.
One Fine Morning/Un Beau Matin, written and directed by Mia Hansen-Love, won the Director's Fortnight Award for best European film at Cannes Film Festival.
