AIREDALE NHS Foundation Trust's armed forces advocate is hosting a 'brew up'.
Martin Flint-Johnson is staging the event at Airedale Hospital next Monday (January 15).
Free cuppas and cake will on offer in the restaurant, C30, between 9.30am and 10.30am.
Patients, visitors and staff with military connections are welcome to attend.
Martin says: "It’s just about getting together, sharing stories and giving a bit of support or advice to each other if it’s needed – along with some forces chat.
"Anyone who’s served can stop by and find some friendly faces and a little company."
Martin served in the army with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers for ten years, on both active service and peacekeeping tours across the world.
He was appointed the NHS trust's armed forces advocate in November, 2022.
As part of his role, he identifies and speaks to serving and former armed forces personnel at the hospital – patients and staff – to see if they require any additional help.
In his first year, Martin supported over 200 people.
