VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help welcome visitors to East Riddlesden Hall.
An appeal has been issued as the 17th-century National Trust property prepares to open its doors five days a week, from February 5, for the new season.
Bosses at the hall say house experience volunteers have a "vital" role to play.
"They are a key part of our volunteering community," says Emily Ghassempour, senior volunteer and community officer at East Riddlesden Hall.
"They provide a warm and friendly welcome to visitors wanting to explore the house and find out more about the history of this fascinating place.
"We welcome volunteers from any background. No experience is required – we’re looking for people with the right personality who enjoy communicating with others.
"If you’re friendly, enthusiastic and like meeting people, this is a great role to start your volunteering journey with the National Trust."
