A WORTH Valley clergyman has had a collection of his poems published.
Wonder, Grief and Hope features the works of the Rev Oli Preston, rector of Haworth and Cross Roads.
"I'm so excited to release my first poetry collection," says the Rev Preston, who is also an accomplished musician and singer.
"The volume consists of 21 poems that were inspired by love for the natural world in a time of climate and ecological crisis.
"There are moments of awe and wonder, deep sadness and distress at the hurt and destruction of creation – and a tenacious hope, drawing on my Christian hope of resurrection."
Limited-edition, hand-prepared copies of the volume are available from Wave of Nostalgia bookshop in Main Street, Haworth, or directly from the Rev Preston, who can be contacted via Facebook Messenger or the contact form at haworthchurch.co.uk
Profits are going to Haworth and Cross Roads church funds.
