A BIKE marking day in Keighley proved a success.
Around 15 bicycles were security marked during the session, in the Victoria Hall car park.
The Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team and police community support officers staged the event.
Bikes were marked and added for free to Bike Register, a national police-approved database.
All UK police forces have access to the database, helping to reunite recovered stolen bikes with their owners.
Once security marked, the bike has a label applied warning would-be thieves.
Over 1.3 million bikes are registered with the initiative, run by Selectamark.
Members can also use the service when buying a second-hand bike to help them avoid acquiring a stolen one.
