A KEIGHLEY organisation's co-founder and chief executive officer has reached the finals of a regional awards scheme.
Emma Gibson, of Missing Peace Wellbeing + Support, is amongst those nominated for an honour in the inaugural Yorkshire Businesswoman Awards.
She is one of three finalists in the Mandy Taylor Award category.
In total, the awards programme attracted over 300 nominations, across 11 categories.
"I'm shocked but honoured to be a finalist in the first-ever Yorkshire Businesswoman Awards alongside so many amazing women from across Yorkshire," says Emma.
Missing Peace Wellbeing + Support provides mental health and wellbeing help in the community.
Provision includes peer support and social groups, one-to-one sessions and Wellness Recovery Action Plan courses.
The organisation also hosts events including a Christmas Day celebration for people who would otherwise be on their own.
Winners of the Yorkshire Businesswoman Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Leeds on International Women’s Day, Friday, March 8.
