RAIL operator Northern – which runs services on the Airedale line – is stepping up efforts to help victims of unwanted sexual behaviour on its network.
A team of staff has been specially trained to assist colleagues who experience issues, including signposting them to support services.
And it is hoped the initiative will also give employees who deal face-to-face with customers the confidence to intervene should members of the public at stations or onboard trains be targeted.
The move is the latest in a series of measures by Northern aimed at combating unwanted sexual behaviour on the railway.
Last year, it joined with students in the Bradford district to raise awareness.
Kerry Peters, for Northern, says: "Everyone should be free to go about their day without feeling unsafe, violated or intimidated.
"Unfortunately, unwanted sexual behaviour can happen to anyone, anywhere.
"I am grateful to each and every one of my colleagues who volunteered to join this network for playing their part in our mission to eradicate this behaviour and make the railway safer for customers and rail employees alike."
Anyone who witnesses unwanted sexual behaviour on the railway should contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 405040.
