A STALWART of allotment gardening will share his knowledge at an event in Glusburn.
Tony Urwin will speak on Minimum Effort, Maximum Production at a meeting of Glusburn & Cross Hills Gardening Society.
Anyone is welcome to attend the event, at the community and arts centre on Friday, March 15, at 7.30pm.
Derek Blackwell, for the society, says: "Tony has been involved in allotment gardening all his life and was Yorkshire mentor for the National Allotment Society.
"He will be sharing his knowledge of good soil, composting and 'no dig gardening' – valuable advice for gardeners and allotment holders alike!"
Admission is £3 for members, and £5 for non-members.
