KEIGHLEY Men's Forum heard about the life and times of renowned artist Stanley Boardman.
The presentation – by Tim Neal, of Keighley and District Local History Society – was based around two dozen paintings gifted to the society by the artist's family.
Featured in the work are various Keighley characters of yesteryear.
A forum spokesperson says: "The characters include Freddie Gramophone, Spud Mick, Old Mothballs and others, well remembered by the majority of members present!
"Tim's talk was very well received."
Thanks were given by forum president Rod Fall.
Stan honed his painting skills alongside running a signwriting business before and after the Second World War.
After buying a large house at Steeton, he set-up a studio in the adjoining barn.
He died in 1996.
