TWO councillors have staged a 'ward walk' – and hope to expand the initiative.
Mark Curtis and Luke Maunsell, who represent Oakworth on Keighley Town Council, walked around the village identifying issues including potholes and blocked gullies.
They also carried out litter picking, tidied a footpath and refilled dog bag dispensers.
Cllr Curtis says: "Doing our little bit to help is what we are here for. We're hoping to roll this out into a bigger project, which could see us initiating a community warden scheme in the near future."
And Cllr Maunsell said: "We thoroughly enjoyed our time investigating issues in the village that we serve. We are both proud to represent the wonderful people of Oakworth and always strive to do whatever we can."
