A KEIGHLEY band is launching a European tour – beginning on home soil.
Goo will start at Studio Five Live in Keighley on May 10 and then perform eight gigs across Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland.
The tour is to promote its new single, You're In Mono.
"We started life in 2020 as a way to keep our sanity throughout the pandemic!" said a band spokesperson.
Its debut single – Underground or Overseas – received critical acclaim and the band began performing around the UK, supporting The Wytches and False Advertising.
Further singles followed and festival appearances, and in May last year Goo toured France to rave reviews.
Working with renowned producer Andy Hawkins, the band recorded an EP – Chomp – and five of the six songs have been played on BBC Introducing.
At the Studio Five Live gig, Goo will be supported by Cry About It and Instant Bin, as well as DJs Aidy Dibb and Chris Taylor.
