YORKSHIRE Wildlife Trust – whose nature reserves include Low Wood, at Riddlesden – has launched its 2024 'wild events' programme.
A series of activities is planned across the region through the spring and summer – including bat walks, wild art crafting days and glow-worm searches.
Kat Woolley, for the trust, says: "Spring and summer are a fantastic time of year to get out and about in the region.
"Yorkshire is an incredible county for wildlife, with so many different and amazing experiences, and things are now bursting into life.
"We’ve been running an events programme for 40 years and are always excited to welcome new people along – whatever their experience with the natural world.
"Whether you’re a wildlife expert, a crafter, entirely new to our wilder world or just want a fun adventure, come along."
