PEOPLE across the Keighley district go to the polls next week.
Bradford Council and West Yorkshire mayoral elections take place on Thursday (May 2).
And people are being urged to ensure they use their vote.
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm.
Voters are reminded to take valid photo ID or a voter authority certificate with them.
Dr Lorraine O'Donnell, the returning officer for Bradford Council, says: "Voting is an opportunity to have your say on the issues that affect your everyday life at a local level. Every vote matters.
"I would encourage everyone to exercise their democratic right.
"Everyone should be able to vote with confidence, and if you require any support or assistance to cast your ballot this will be made available to you at the polling station.
"If needed, large-print ballot papers and tactile voting devices and visual aids are available, and assistance dogs can be taken into the polling station with you.
"If you have a carer or a support worker, they can help you to cast your vote, or the presiding officer at each polling station can also assist you to do this."
