A CHURCH is in a flutter – and it's delighted!
Lees Methodist Church has installed a number of bird nesting boxes and feeders.
And it's asking passers-by to look out for any more-unusual visitors.
"Our feathered friends of the village now have their own selection of ‘desirable residences’ to choose from!" says Anne Arana, for the church.
"Thanks go to everyone who donated items. And a special 'thank you' to Don Jones for adapting and repairing some of the bird boxes and putting them all up – we're very grateful, and to Thelma for volunteering her husband!
"Anyone walking past, please do have a look, and if you spot any unusual birds let us know. We hope to hold wildlife surveys in the near future."
