I WOULD like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who took the time to vote for me in the district council elections on May 2.

I am honoured to have been entrusted by the people of Keighley West to serve the town that has been my home for over 60 years.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my campaign team and supporters for their tireless work over the last six months; this was very much a team effort.

Congratulations to all those who were elected last Thursday and commiserations to all those who campaigned hard but were unsuccessful.

My pledge to all those in Keighley West is to work hard on your behalf, supporting my fellow residents whenever I can.
