CHILDREN at Oxenhope Primary School were invited to 'dress to express'.
Pupils donned outfits reflecting what they would like to be in later life.
Costumes ranged from nurses to footballers.
The youngsters also brought in pictures and details relating to family members or friends who inspire them, plus information about war veterans, sportspeople and others who had raised money for charity or tackled adventures.
Headteacher, Mrs Alice Jones, says: "Our school is part of Bradford Diocesan Academy Trust and each year we focus on a different personal attribute. This year we are looking at aspiration.
"The children were passionate about their families and friends, and clear about their aspirations.
"It is important to help children aspire to be great people; they all have the potential."
