THE Goats Head at Steeton is toasting a coveted accolade.
The hostelry has been named Community Pub of the Year by Keighley & Craven Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Branch committee member, Glynne Davies, made the presentation.
He said: "We launched the award in 2016 to celebrate the best community pub in our area every year.
"It was dedicated to the memory of Lynda Smith, one of our most active branch members for many years, who sadly passed away at the end of 2015 following a long illness.
"The Goats Head has a strong community focus, competes in local darts and dominoes leagues, and has quizzes and live music on a regular basis. There's active engagement with the community, from the sale of eggs and cakes to various fundraising activities for charities such as Andy’s Man Club."
The pub team said it was "over the moon" to receive the award.
