MEMBERS of Keighley Churches Together gathered to celebrate Whitsun.
The well-attended event took place on Church Green.
Amongst those who addressed the celebration was Major Imogen Stewart, of Keighley Salvation Army.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: "Major Stewart reminded the crowds that many well-known figures from history had affected the nation after receiving the Holy Spirit and experiencing that 'warming of the heart' – including Martin Luther, John Wesley and William Booth, founder of the Salvation Army – and that the gift was still available for all today."
Future events planned by Keighley Churches Together include the annual Festival of Life, which takes place at Church Green on June 29.
Also, members will have a stand at this year's Keighley Show, on September 7.
