RAISE your glass to Keighley's latest town trail!
Pubs and breweries are the focus of the history trail, being launched at Keighley Local Studies Library next Saturday, June 1.
The event takes place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
Local historian Eddie Kelly will discuss some of Keighley’s lost pubs, and there will be an opportunity for visitors to examine archives – including maps, plans and photos – of old hostelries.
Also, part of a beer mat collection which belonged to the late Dr Ian Dewhirst will be on show.
A library spokesperson says: "The trail looks at the history of some of Keighley’s favourite pubs and includes fascinating facts – find out which pub the Brontes stayed at, and which was once a stable for horses!"
