KEIGHLEY Salvation Army's range of work and projects will be spotlighted at a meeting next month.

Major Imogen Stewart, who took over as minister at the High Street premises last year, is guest speaker at the latest Lees Methodist Church Meeting Point.

Maurice Baren, for Meeting Point, says: "Keighley Salvation Army's base is not just a place of worship.

"Many activities take place there to help meet the needs of the people of Keighley – particularly those who find life hard and people who are seeking refuge in the town.

"They offer food parcels, there is a cafe and shop, and at Christmastime parcels of toys are delivered to many local homes. And there is so much more."

The meeting is at Lees Methodist Church, opposite the primary school, on Wednesday, June 12.

Tea and biscuits will be served from 1.45pm, and the meeting starts at 2pm.

Everyone is welcome.
