STUDENTS at South Craven School in Cross Hills have raised £1,080 for Airedale Hospital & Community Charity.
The cash was coined-in through a range of activities, from a random sock day to a bake sale and filling sweet tubes with 20p coins.
Year 7 pupils chose the charity as one of their year-long fundraising beneficiaries.
Lisa Nutt, a pastoral teaching assistant at the school, says: "We decided on Airedale Hospital & Community Charity because it's a fantastic locally-based cause.
"Taking part in fundraising has taught the students valuable lessons about their local hospital and what a difference raising funds for charity can make."
Pupils were thanked by the charity's community fundraiser, Laura Hepworth.
She added: "The pupils should be really proud of everything they've achieved."
