A HEALTH check event is being staged at a Keighley community centre.
Residents can have their blood pressure and body mass index checked, and access a range of health and wellbeing advice.
The event takes place at the Sue Belcher Centre, Bracken Bank, on Thursday (June 6), between 1pm and 3pm.
It is being staged in conjunction with Keighley Healthy Living.
Other service providers attending will include the Department for Work and Pensions, Incommunities, Money Matters, Modality Partnership social prescribers, breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel! and the Locala ‘clinic in a van’.
David Weston, chair of the Sue Belcher Centre, says: "We run a community health hub on the first Thursday of each month, with different organisations on hand to offer support on issues including job seeking, benefits, housing, finances, technology and healthcare.
"For this particular health hub we have partnered with Keighley Healthy Living to take it a step further and give more in-detail health support. We’d love to see more faces there to access what’s on offer."
People can drop in at the centre, in Bracken Bank Avenue, anytime during the two-hour event.
