A £4.3 MILLION scheme is underway in Keighley to provide new affordable housing.
Avant Homes West Yorkshire is building 20 properties for Manningham Housing Association.
The first 11 homes at Odette’s Point, in Shann Lane, have already been handed over.
And it's expected that the remainder will be completed by the end of the year.
There is a mix of three and four-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties at the site.
Phil Lacey, group head of affordable housing delivery at Avant Homes, says: "Our vision of providing quality new homes for everyone underpins our multi-tenure strategy.
"Our deal with Manningham Housing Association at the Odette’s Point development is a perfect example of us delivering on our vision. The success of the development highlights the demand for these types of homes within the Bradford district.
"The affordable homes at Odette’s Point will contribute to the growing and diverse community in the area, whilst providing housing for people who need it most."
The Keighley scheme is amongst nine 'live' developments that the Wakefield-based housebuilder is currently working on, with more in the pipeline.
Mr Lacey says: "We are determined to create a positive, long-lasting social impact through our multi-tenure strategy. We are actively engaged in conversations with registered social landlords and private rental sector providers across our business and look forward to announcing more partnerships in the future."
Tracie Naylor, regeneration manager at Manningham Housing Association, says: "We are delighted to be collaborating with Avant Homes to provide essential new and affordable housing."
The award-winning association manages more than 1,400 homes, for over 6,000 residents, across Keighley and Bradford.
Avant Homes Group currently operates across the Midlands, north of England and Scotland from eight regional bases, and employs more than 600 people.
In the year ended June 30, 2023, it delivered 1,766 completions.
Mr Lacey adds: "We are committed to securing sustainable growth through private for sale, private rental sector and additional affordable housing. This better serves customers and communities, particularly where the cost of living has increased and affordability is stretched.
"We have invested in the internal expertise to develop and deliver strategic relationships.
"We are also committed to environmental, social and governance responsibilities in line with our vision to construct and sell quality homes for everyone.
"Our strategy recognises obligations to all stakeholders to deliver a sustainable future. Avant Homes’ house types are significantly more energy efficient compared to existing stock."
