MOTORBIKERS are gearing up for an annual charity show.
Aire Valley Classic Motorcycle Club, formerly Steeton-based Girder Fork, is once again staging its popular Big Bike Sunday.
A range of classic, vintage and modern machines will be on display at the event, at Skipton Auction Mart on June 30, from 11am to 3pm.
Last year's show was a huge success, raising £1,500 each for three causes – the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands and amputee support group Airedale and Bradford Out on a Limb.
A club spokesperson says: "The event is a chance to come along and see machines of every age and description – including some original-patina examples and stunning motorcycles from across the years.
"And why not bring your own cherished machine and enter our Concours competition, with the opportunity to win a trophy? Categories include vintage, pre and post-1965 classics, modern, three-wheelers, custom and moped/scooter, as well as 'best in show'.
"Everyone is welcome.
"Last year's event was a roaring success – it was really busy, with loads of machines, stands, and sales of motorcycle gear and books etc."
Further information about the event can be obtained from club chair Mick Steele on 07805 025903.
