PEOPLE are being invited to see improvements made to a Keighley town-centre community hub.
Keighley Healthy Living, in Scott Street, is staging an open day on Thursday, June 27, between 10am-noon.
The health and wellbeing charity received a grant from Keighley Towns Fund to modernise the building, and improve access for wheelchair users and people with prams.
During the open day, the public will also be able to learn more about groups and support services on offer at the centre.
Melanie Hey, chief executive officer at Keighley Healthy Living, says: "We're delighted with our recent renovations and invite the people of Keighley and surrounding areas to come inside our welcoming community space to see the improvements for themselves.
"We understand that starting with a new group or activity can sometimes be daunting, but we hope the open day will motivate lots of new faces to visit and see what services we can offer to people seeking friendships and wanting to make improvements to their general health and wellbeing.
"We run a full schedule of varied activities throughout the week. There really is something for everyone to enjoy, from seated and cardio exercise to a young parents’ group and games cafe."
