KEIGHLEY-district community organisations and charities are being invited to apply for cash aid from the Co-op.
The group has launched the latest round of its Local Community Fund, and is seeking applications for a share of the £5m pot.
Since the fund was launched in 2016, more than £100m has been distributed to good causes, with nearly 40,000 projects benefitting.
In the new round of grants, the focus is on projects that support people – such as those that help youngsters fulfill their potential or older residents feel connected – or the planet, including reducing waste and tackling climate change.
And the Co-op says it is keen to back schemes that promote diversity and inclusion.
Rebecca Birkbeck, director of community and member participation at the Co-op, says: "As a co-operative our focus is on delivering increased value for our member-owners and their communities and we know that members really care about supporting local, grassroots projects. Through our Local Community Fund, we’re able to support initiatives that make a real difference to people and our planet."
Successful applicants will receive a minimum of £1,000.

The closing date for applications is Sunday, July 7.
