A MAJOR exhibition staged in Keighley has been hailed by organisers as a huge success.

The Airedale Biz Showcase – at Victoria Hall – featured over 40 exhibitors, including established companies and start-ups, representing a range of industry sectors. And more than 150 people attended.

The event was officially opened by West Yorkshire deputy lieutenant, Professor Adeeba Malik.

There were a number of speakers.

Wendy Spencer – of Airedale Enterprise, one of the event organisers – says: "It was the first Airedale Biz Showcase and the event absolutely smashed it with the business community.

"We were thrilled to bring the event to Keighley, offering a platform for businesses to connect, collaborate and grow.

"It was a brilliant day. Large and small businesses from across the Airedale corridor attended. We had some fantastic feedback and now we're looking forward to next year, when we promise an even bigger and better event!"

She added: "Thanks go to all the speakers and exhibitors and everyone who that took time out of their day to attend and support local business.

"And thanks also to David Robertson, from Blue Sky SEO and Breakfast Bites referral networking, for working with us on this truly brilliant initiative!"
