ROTARIANS from the Keighley and Haworth & Worth Valley clubs joined forces for a charter dinner.
The event marked the Keighley club's 90th anniversary, and 25 years of the Haworth & Worth Valley branch.
Guests at the dinner – at Keighley Golf Club – included deputy town mayor Councillor Chris Herd and his wife Linda, and Rotary district governor David Phillips and Mrs June Phillips.
The keynote speech was given by Professor Fiona McCauley, from the peace studies department at the University of Bradford.
She spoke about the impact the peace studies department had made since its inception in 1973, and her experiences as a prison inspector on behalf of Amnesty International in Brazil.
Gary Gardner, past president of Haworth & Worth Valley Rotary Club, was presented with the Paul Harris Fellowship.
The accolade is the highest that can be bestowed by the Rotary movement in Great Britain and Ireland.
