AN expanding swim school is creating a splash in Keighley.
Puddle Ducks West Yorkshire has launched lessons at the Beckfoot Phoenix School site, in Braithwaite Avenue.
The organisation, launched in 2011, now offers baby and child swimming lessons at more than half a dozen venues across the region.
It teaches over 550 children a week.
Puddle Ducks West Yorkshire owner, Jenny Brown, says the expansion into Keighley is in response to rising demand.
She adds: "We are delighted to announce the expansion of our services into a new area for Puddle Ducks.
"Getting more children in pools learning this lifesaving skill is such a positive for the community.
"We are running both baby and pre-school lessons at Beckfoot Phoenix School as well as a Swim Academy programme, for children aged four to 10. The venue is fantastic, and the pool is lovely and warm! We can’t wait to welcome lots of local children along to learn to swim.
"Puddle Ducks takes an innovative approach to swimming, employing highly-trained teachers who can identify a child’s level of ability and adapt lessons and activities accordingly."
