A NEW beginners' bridge course is being launched in Keighley.
Sessions are being staged by Keighley Bridge Club, and will be led by an experienced teacher.
The course begins on Thursday, September 12, at 9.30am, with an additional small group at 7pm.
There is a £75 fee for the first term, which will include a course handbook, and the cost for the subsequent term will be £55.
The club is based at Clock View Street, in the Beechcliffe area of the town. Parking is available.
"The new classes are for beginners as well as those who are returning to bridge," says a club spokesperson.
"We currently have around 200 members and cater for all abilities – as well as welcoming people who wish to learn to play, we hold seminars and classes for intermediate and more advanced players. Sessions are held both during the day and evenings.
"The club is always looking to attract new members."
