PEOPLE across the Keighley district are being urged to have their say on where new electric vehicle chargepoints should be installed.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority is carrying out a £17 million expansion of infrastructure, and is seeking public views.
"We want to ensure chargepoints are installed in the right places – particularly in neighbourhoods where driveway charging isn’t an option," says a spokesperson.
People can give their views at yourvoice.westyorks-ca.gov.uk/levi, where further information about the consultation can also be found.
In addition, a series of drop-in events is being staged in each district of West Yorkshire.
The Bradford-district event is at The Broadway, in the city centre, on Monday, August 12, between 1pm-5pm.
Also, webinars are planned, and an event will give people the chance to discover more about electric vehicles and have a test drive.
West Yorkshire mayor, Tracy Brabin, says: "We need to improve access to electric vehicles in order to hit our goal of becoming net zero carbon by 2038.
"Chargepoints should be easy to use, accessible for everyone, reliable and well-maintained.
"I'm urging people to have their say so we can create a greener, better-connected region that works for everyone."
The consultation runs until September 11.
