A NUMBER of roads across the Keighley district are scheduled for resurfacing and other work during the coming days.
Bradford Council says closures or temporary traffic lights will be in place on several routes.
Roads affected include:
* Reservoir Road, Stanbury, between Sun Lane and the entrance to the water works, closure on Tuesday (August 13), 7.30am-5pm
* Brow Road, Haworth, closure for its full length – between the A6033 Hebden Road and B6142 Bridgehouse Lane – on Wednesday (August 14), 7.30am-5pm
* Temporary traffic lights on the A629 Halifax Road – junction with Manywells Brow, near Cullingworth – on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (August 12, 13, 15), 9.30am-3.30pm
* Temporary traffic lights in Main Street, Wilsden, between Lane Side and Crooke Lane, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (August 14-16) and on Tuesday, August 20, 9.30am-3.30pm
* Closure on Roydwood Terrace, Cullingworth, from the B6429 Halifax Road to Greenside Lane (behind the war memorial), on Friday (August 16), 7.30am-5.30pm
Where roads are closed, traffic diversions will be in place. Residents will be allowed access when and where possible.
"We apologise for the inconvenience this essential work may cause," says a council spokesperson.
