A PACKED programme of events is lined up at Silsden Town Hall over the coming months.
And organisers at the popular community hub say the schedule is "merely a warm-up" ahead of district City of Culture celebrations next year.
Chart-topping singer Kiki Dee, sports broadcaster Henry Blofeld and comedy band The Grumbleweeds are amongst the performers appearing at the Kirkgate venue this autumn and winter.
The season kicks off with Silsden Festival of Ideas.
Nine talks are taking place over three days, from Friday, August 23, until Sunday, August 25.
Speakers include Martin Lunn, on Viking and Arabic Astronomy; Neil Hanson, who will talk about running Britain’s highest pub, and David Mason, who will examine Silsden’s past through the eyes of four different men.
An Audience with Henry Blofeld is on Saturday, August 31, at 8pm.
Affectionately known as Blowers, he's widely acclaimed as the voice of BBC radio's Test Match Special.
A spokesperson says: "Henry will share his life story ahead of the cricket season ending. Veering from intergalactic travel to horticulture and mountaineering, audiences are always sure of an evening of great tales from this quintessential Englishman."
Award-winning The Grumbleweeds will perform their Bring On the 80s show on Saturday, October 5.
Kiki Dee – perhaps best known for her 1976 duet with Elton John, Don't Go Breaking My Heart, which reached top spot in the UK singles chart – and guitarist Carmelo Luggeri are heading to the town hall on Saturday, November 9.
Comedian Daliso Chaponda – who has Royal Variety performances, international tours and TV appearances under his belt – will entertain on Saturday, December 7.
And the line-up also includes blues icon Chantelle McGregor, and The Noise Next Door.
Amongst Christmas offerings will be What the Dickens, The Snowman with Bradford Concert Band, and a tribute to Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
The spokesperson says: "The cultural offer at our town hall has never been stronger.
"With chart-topping artists, immersive theatre, orchestral performances and talks on a huge range of topics, there is something for everyone.
"People's continued support for the Friends of Silsden Town Hall – a registered charity – allows us to host activities, classes, arts, culture and heritage for the whole community.
"And with Bradford City of Culture just around the corner, our autumn programme is merely a warm-up for what's to come next year."
