A KEIGHLEY man who travelled by train to Bradford Forster Square without paying the fare – and attempted to use a ticket that had been altered – has been ordered to pay £770 by magistrates.
Abdula Hussain committed the offences on January 5 this year, Kirklees (Huddersfield) Magistrates Court heard.
The 32-year-old – of Church Street – was fined £440 and ordered to pay a £176 victim surcharge, £150 costs and £4 compensation.
