POLICE are continuing to appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in Keighley town centre.
A pedestrian was struck by a white Audi as he crossed the road.
The driver then left the scene.
Anyone who witnessed what happened or saw the car immediately before or after the collision is asked to come forward.
The incident occurred in Lawkholme Lane on Tuesday, August 27, at around 10.05pm, as the vehicle turned into the road from Cavendish Street.
The pedestrian – a man in his 70s – was taken to hospital, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening head injury.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson says: "We are keen to speak to anyone who was either walking or driving in the area around the time of the incident who may have seen the vehicle involved.
"We're also asking drivers who use dashcam cameras to please check whether they have captured any relevant images."
Anyone with information which could help the investigation is asked to contact the West Yorkshire roads policing unit via Live Chat online or by calling 101, quoting log 1923 of 27/08.
