A MAN who made a train journey from Keighley to Skipton without a ticket has been ordered to pay over £460.
Kirklees (Huddersfield) Magistrates Court heard that Scott Butcher failed to pay the £5.10 fare and a subsequent fixed penalty notice.
The 35-year-old – of Northampton Street, Bradford – was fined £220 and ordered to pay £150 costs, an £88 victim surcharge and £5.10 compensation.
The offence was committed on Sunday, February 18.
