AN 18th Walk for Manorlands takes place this month.
The walk was first held in 2006 by Peter and Chris Bashforth in memory of their daughter, Ruth, who was cared for by staff at the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
Now the event is run by Bingley Manorlands Support Group.
This year's walk takes place on Saturday, September 28.
People can choose from the traditional five, 10 or 15-mile routes.
And the latest event features an additional, three-mile pram and dog-friendly walk – including a letter hunt for children, with complimentary refreshments half way and a small prize for finishers.
The routes all start and finish at Harden Cricket Club, where there will be homemade cakes and drinks afterwards.
Start times are from 9am, up to noon, and all walkers receive a map and route instructions.
Entry is free, but donations and sponsorship are welcome.
