A HOSPITAL charity's first golf day holed £3,738.

The Airedale Hospital & Community Charity event – at Branshaw Golf Club, Oakworth – also featured a raffle, with prizes donated by businesses.

Sponsors of the golf day were Davric Construction Projects and Service Electrical (Bradford).

Davric director, David Hamer, says: "I'm really pleased with how the day went, and we're proud to have sponsored it alongside Service Electrical. Thank you to everyone who attended and all who gave their support."

Airedale Hospital & Community Charity manager, Jodie Hearnshaw, said: "Our first golf day was a resounding success – even the sunshine showed up!".

She thanked Branshaw for hosting the event and congratulated the winner, Team Oldfields, from Oldfield Electrical.
