AN acclaimed world authority on daffodils is giving a presentation in South Craven.
Ian Tyler will be at the first meeting of the 2024-25 season of Glusburn and Cross Hills Gardening Society.
Anyone is welcome to attend the event, at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre, Colne Road, on Friday, October 11, at 7.30pm.
Mr Tyler, a recent chair of the Daffodil Society, has been growing and showing daffs for over 40 years.
And he has served as an accredited judge, both in the UK and overseas, for more than three decades.
Derek Blackwell, for the society, says: "Everybody is invited to join us for a celebration of the history and varieties of this most popular flower.
"Ian last visited us in 2018 and we look forward to another colourful evening."
Admission is £3 for members and £5 for non-members.
