A TRIO of pupils at Oxenhope Primary School got creative to help wildlife.
Bertie and Abe Brook and Tom Foxon used their woodworking skills to build a hedgehog house, and bat and owl boxes.
They carried out the work in their own time, and donated the items to help birds and animals that use the school's nature area.
Headteacher, Mrs Alice Jones, pays tribute to the youngsters.
She said: "I was blown away by the craftsmanship shown by the children.
"The habitats are beautiful and will provide a legacy in our nature area.
"We teach our children about caring for the community – and this includes the animals that live here too."
Earlier this year, pupils raised more than £4,000 to enhance the nature area.
